BollyWeird Clips - WTF?
We spent the last 48 hours in a dark, cold and unventilated NYC basement apartment, high on nachos, cigarettes and US Weekly magazines, and never in our deepest, darkest nightmares have we seen anything like this clip.
Hold us, please!
UPDATE: You loved this clip so much it shut down the site! Thanks to Silk Smitha who has another version up here.

I lost brain cells watching that.
Got any more?
Can you tell us the movie/composer? Thanks.
My eyes hurt while watching that…..where is this from?
What is the ABCD obsession with 80’s video. Yeah you are superior. There are no videos from the 80s in the USA which is crazy.
Who pissed in your cornflakes? We love all things cheesy - brown or not.
Hi folks, this is not Bollywood movie fyi. This is Tollywood and is a 80s movie.
No Indian I, but how is it different from, say, the Wiggles or any random Disney music video?
That is the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen. *cries*
ok, that’s stupid, but no more stupid than the dialog from any speilberg movie. and at least they’re not pretending that their lame ass flick is going to “change the world” like speilshit does
This is actually a Hollywood production with an ethnic californian language.
I wish I knew more about this genre of music. It would appear that it is about 20 years behind our western rock and roll. It seems it was experiencing an evolutionary stage roughly parallel to Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour in 1985. That would put it at about the New Order - Blue Monday stage now. Probably be unlistenable in another 20 years.
This is a Kids movie and this song is for amusing kids. Now are we adults?
1. The language is not Hindi - so it is not a Bollywood movie, it is probably from one of the Southern states -Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh.
2. It seems to be a low budget movie - low end of the Indian movies - based on the cheap set.
3. Most movies in India are escapist - similar to the Hollywood ones during the Depression in US.
4. The symbolisms would appeal to poor rural illiterate Indians.
5. Mostly it is fashion show with suggestive sex - things which cannot be shown explicitly in India.
6. A lot of Indian movie songs, especially in the low end movies, are copies of western rock music.
7. It is no worse than the cheap porn being made in US - if you watch some of them you would get worse head ache.
After four viewings I’ve decided, the difference between this and the wiggles is that this is pretty much the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
Its a telugu movie from the 80’s. Most present day Indians/Telugus would feel the same seeing this. That said, the present day movies are not much better.
Might I humbly suggest that this is weirder: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3D-UE8fahtU
Why are we not talking about this oh wait that would not make you feel superior.
Yeah i will search the internet for 80s video and point fingers and laugh because as a ABCD i am more superior.
This looks like the Indian “Night at the museum”. Instead of Ben Stiller its telugu Chiranjeevi. I agree with hit, turban head has a long history of finding 80’s and 70s video.
1. Its your f&#ing fault if you watch a clip and don’t know what language, which region of India, and whcih genre and audience it belongs to.
2. Raj - you are getting warm… its Telugu, spoken in Andhra pradesh.
3. The lyrics are the harmless, nursery-rhyme kind. The buffoonery is meant to entertain children - crude, I admit.
4. The garish colours bother you, perhaps? May be the sounds which go Puvva Puvva? I had nausea when I watched The Blob, Poltergeist, Total recall, Pulp fiction and Face off.
5. Go back to your Cocoon, and listen to whichever Texan drawl or Boston accent you understand.
Here is a link for turbanhead….i bet USA made groundbreaking videos in the 80s.

You humorless droids tripping over yourselves to defend Andhra’s honor don’t realize how beautiful a chubby movie star in reflective spandex can be and the affection with which this curating is done.
