The soundtrack to this rather acrobatic filmi fu clip from Don reminds me of the classic American TV series CHiPs (via Sepia Mutiny). Look for the male stuntman filmed only from behind, posing as a Charlie’s Farishta in black pantsuit and wig. Krav maga apparently has nothin’ on gymnastics — take note, Mohini Bhardwaj.

Egregious fashion violations are committed (Amitabh Bachchan’s vest, Pran’s white belt). Much trampoline-centric tomfoolery. Bachchan takes a standing leap over a burning car, Zeenat Aman jumps like Wonder Woman. Forget Krrish, these were the original superheroes.

There’s nothing like a fight scene in a Christian graveyard. Mmm, I love the smell of sacrilege in the morning.
