Malthus would be horrified

India is the biggest beneficiary of foreign remittances in the world (via India Uncut):

India is the largest recipient of remittances by overseas workers, estimated at $21 billion — up from almost 150% since 1995, says a study by investment bankers J P Morgan. [Link]

And the ToI says you’ve been gettin’ busy, my fine feathered friends:

The Indian diaspora is estimated at 20 billion. [Link]

Since the earth’s population is around 6.5 billion today, that adds up to a lot of fine brown babies floating around the void. Non-Planetary Indians. Astronaut-Born Cometary Desis.

I thank the ToI’s copy editors (?) daily for these miracles of science.
