Prince Harry Is A Dick

princeharry_021

Prince Harry has apologised for using offensive language to describe a member of his army platoon. The News of the World said it had a video of the army lieutenant calling a colleague a “Paki” while pretending to make a phonecall to the Queen. A statement from St James’s Palace said he did so three years ago as a nickname about a friend and without any malice. The prince had to apologise in 2005 for wearing a swastika armband to a party, which offended many Jewish people.

The video reportedly shows Harry while still an officer cadet at Sandhurst military academy. It was filmed in front of other cadets at an airport departure lounge as they waited for a flight to Cyprus to go on manoeuvres. The newspaper said the prince had called the soldier “our little Paki friend”.

I’m more inclined to say he’s an as$hole rather than a dick (per Team America parameters).

I’d rather deal w/his overt bigotry than the covert brand to which so very many subscribe. I’m honestly still bemused that such an innocuous (really, a lovely word) term was turned into a slur and remains one.

He’s a pompous racsist and like the rest of the royals, completely insignifigant to the rest of the world.

This is what hundreds of years of inbreeding does. Calling him a “dickhead” insults my male anatomy. he’s more of a dag (NZ def’n).

We didn’t call him a dickhead. He’s just a dick.

    FYI

The Daily Telegraph newspaper reported today that both Charles and his two sons William and Harry call Dhillon “Sooty” and claimed the term was offensive. Most Britons know the term “Sooty” from a 1950s children’s television program that featured a glove puppet in the shape of a teddy bear with the same name. Dhillon said in a statement that he enjoys being called “Sooty” and he is sure those who use it meant no offence.

The thin-skinned PC-crowd that thrives on being offended is having a field day. Mea Culpa has been issued by the kid… move on. The idea that a modern-secular democracy maintains a royal family is the real joke…

Agree, but then they wonder why we are not proud to be British. Our own Monarchs are hurling insults at us… of course we’ll take a little umbrage.

He is not a monarch. the guy should be given a break. After all he did not commit a mortal or reckless crime. Guys in their teens and twenties like to test limits.

Part of the Monarchy though. Shouldn’t they be setting a better example? And a break? To this guy? This guy and his continued gaffes? Come on. He has set limits. He should stay within them.
